| In order from top: Julie begins her training to become a stick-shift ninja. Our friends, Alex & Cas get married & had their reception on the Mariner. Julie & I at Long Beach on Long Island. New York Philharmonic in Central Park with chess & a tasty Italian picnic (yum!). Stan being happy that Steve is an Anglican priest so that he is able to express himself sexually. Julie’s sister Jen & her fiancé Bret get married. Julie & I at Coney Island—Nathan’s chili-cheese-dogs, fake tattoos we won playing skeeball, the world famous Cyclone roller coaster (unbelievable this thing was built in 1927!), and dinner at Totonnos which I now think is the best pizza in New York. I used to think it was Patsy’s in Harlem, but now that we’ve had this twice, I’ve changed my mind (Lombardi’s & John’s get 3rd & 4th runner up respectively). It has to be Coney Island’s Totonnos though, because we’ve had Totonnos on the upper east side and its good there but no big deal. |
