In order from left to right.  Julie with Pa (her grandfather).  Julie's sister Jen and her fiancé Bret.  Both of these pictures are from the Origional Pancake House in Toledo.  Next, Julie poses after we shop at the Vinegar Factory--the fanciest of fancy markets on the upper east side (very tasty things here).  Julie and I go to check out the tree at Rockefeller Center.  It wasn't as big as I thought it would be and the lights were out due to a power failure.  Rather anti-climactic.  Then they popped on and it was very Christmassy.  Julie with our Christmas tree (and no Julie didn't grow 50 feet, that's really how big it was--we were actually impressed we were able to squeeze it in to the apartment).  We went out to dinner with our friends Alex and her fiancé Cass to Peter Luger's (claimed by many to be the best steak in NYC).  I disagree because their idea of medium is raw and they like to cut your meat for you which would be nice if I didn't have any arms but I do.  To put ourselves in the festive spirit, Julie and I went to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular which was, mm... Christmassy.  Then the great blizzard of 2000.  Well, at least that's what the Americans called it.  Ha!  Julie and I went to play in the snow and walked through Central Park.  Very beautiful.  Finally, we enjoy a tasty fireside New Year's eve steak and lobster dinner and reflected on a truly outstanding year.  Ahhhh....
